If you have undamaged books they can be:
- Given to a friend,
- donate to charity
- Sell or give away online
- Visit and drop books at a local street library.
- Donate to the Lions Bookshop in Queanbeyan
- Donate to Lifeline who accept clean books, comics, magazines, pamphlets, sheet music, maps, atlases and encyclopaedias (pre-1940 or the last 20 years only). Materials in languages other than English are welcome. Lifeline does not accept condensed Readers Digest books. Drop off Monday to Saturday between 10am – 2pm.

Damaged Books, comics, magazines, newspapers, pamphlets, sheet music and maps can be placed in your recycling bin. Please ensure book spines and plastic covers are removed. Please note the household bins have a weight limit of 80kg, be cautious of weight limits when putting large quantities of paper into the recycling bins.
