Landfill Bin

Landfill bins are provided for household waste that cannot go in your recycling bin. Your landfill bin will have a red lid.

The maximum weight limit is 80kg

✅ Acceptable items:

	✅ General Waste
	✅ Damaged clothing and textiles
	✅ Crockery and ceramics
	✅ Disposable nappies
	✅ Drinking glasses
	✅ Foam
	✅ Mirrors and broken window glass
	✅ Heat-proof dishes e.g. Pyrex
	✅ Plastic bags, plastic wrap and bubble wrap
	✅ Plastic food wrappers
	✅ Polystyrene (expanded e.g. foam)

❌ Unacceptable items:

	❌ Building materials
	❌All batteries
	❌ Gas bottles
	❌ Hazardous waste or chemicals
	❌ Cooking oils, used engine oil
	❌ Paint (including oil and water based)
	❌ Recyclable items (put in your yellow bin!)
	❌ Rocks and soil
	❌ Fluorescent tubes
	❌ Fire extinguishers
